Fundraising
Unless indicated above, monies collected will be donated to the Hurricane Sandy NJ Relief Fund and towards the purchase of supplies/materials listed above.  Monies can be dropped off to the Center for Student Involvement during regular business hours, in addition to events listed above.

Please note that when you text your donation, it can take up to 90 days to process the donation. Donations made online are instant.

Red Cross: Text 'redcross' to 90999 to donate $10 automatically to the Red Cross for relief efforts. (Will be charged to your phone bill)

Other Ways to Help
As opportunities are gathered, they will be listed here.  Look for clean ups, sorting of donations and donation distribution as possible opportunities to help.

Operation Recovery Newark
Immediate assistance needed to move donations and supplies at New Hope Baptist Church, Newark. Please contact Carly at cgilfoil@greatoakscharter.org or 973-617-7381 to schedule a shift.

Some other ways that you can help can be found through the following websites. Donations should be made to reputable organizations. Please note you will be leaving the Montclair State University web server.

Organizations such as GuideStar, JustGive and Network For Good can help you determine whether a charity is legitimate, and to determine how much of a donation goes to the cause.
