Welcome to campus and to our Red Hawk community!
We are very happy that you've made the decision to transfer to Montclair State University and become the newest member of Red Hawk Country. As you complete your transfer experience, you will be meeting with faculty advisors within your major, completing a mandatory orientation experience, enrolling in your first semester of courses, meeting other new transfer students and working with our office for support along the way. We encourage you to read all of the pages on this website to familiarize yourself with the polices, procedures and "to do" items involved in becoming our newest Red Hawk. We look forward to serving as a resource to you!
Take these next steps to ensure a smooth flight towards your first semester with us:
- Review the links on this webpage carefully
- Learn about and register for a Transfer Student Orientation (TSO) event
- Be certain to complete all sections of the Accepted Transfer Student Check List provided by Undergraduate Admissions
- Contact us if you have any questions.
Students transferring 29 or fewer credit hours are considered Freshmen Transfers. These students should attend a New Student Orientation hosted by the Center for Advising and Student Transitions (CAST).
