The Center for Leadership Development and Campus Connections (LDCC) is made up of a select few well-rounded student leaders who help get students involved, educate their peers through workshops, design creative marketing plans, assist with programs such as the Leadership Institute and leading through example.
LDCC was created to increase student involvement and to promote leadership to all students at Montclair State University. They are responsible for peer to peer developmental workshops, one on one outreach to help get uninvolved students involved, facilitating roundtable discussions for organizations, and hold information tables in the Student Center on how to get involved and find on campus leadership positions.
Current students who are interested in working with us are welcome to apply each Spring - Summer semesters for the upcoming Fall. The benefits to being in LDCC include creating and facilitating a program from start to finish, learning marketing techniques, gaining a professional reference for a future position, learning about The Center for Student Involvement behind the scenes, working with peer students, and making a difference at Montclair State University. Students have the freedom to make their own schedules. Minimal outside obligations are required due to the demands of the position. A passion and strong interest in helping other peer students and understanding the benefits to co-curricular involvement is key to the success of this team.
