Health Promotion Programming

The Office of Health Promotion understands the impact of student health on academic performance and strives to enhance the social, physical and emotional well being of the diverse student body. They offer a variety of programs for you to take part in during the year!

Mindfulness Meditation

  • Offered as a weekly program at the Drop-In Center, Mindfulness Meditation is open to all who are interested in learning about meditation and developing mindfulness in daily life.

Studio DIY

  • Part of a series of weekly workshops offered in the Drop-In Center on Wednesdays from 12:30-2 p.m. for various Do It Yourself activities.

Mediation Resource Center (MRC)

The Mediation Resource Center (MRC) is here to help you manage conflicts and problems you might have with a fellow student, roommate or other member of the campus community. The MRC staff members work with faculty members and students to provide this service and provide events and programming to help you improve your communication skills, learn stress management, develop conflict resolution skills and help you adjust to college life.


Suicide Prevention Help

If you, or someone you know, are in crisis and are thinking about or planning suicide please reach out to Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS) at 973-655-5211 during regular University business hours. After hours contact counselor the University Police Department at 973-655-5222. This support is available to you 24/7.
