
When is payment due?
A: Payment in full was due January 9. Once you have register for classes, you are responsible for all charges associated with that semester. If you decide not to attend any or all of your courses, you must officially withdraw through WESS at wfs.montclair.edu or submit a written notice to the Registrar’s Office.wfs.montclair.edu or submit a written notice to the Registrar’s office located in College Hall, Room 204. Please be advised that the $125 Late Payment Fee for the Spring 2012 semester will be applied by the weekend of February 12, 2012. Check your account via WESS for any amount owed to the University.
What is a 1098-T?
A: IRS Form 1098-T is a tuition statement issued to certain students with a copy sent to the IRS. It is to be used by federal income tax filers to determine eligibility for Hope or Lifetime Learning Tax credits.1098T forms are mailed to the address on file, students can also view the tax information by logging on to WESS account. Under the Student Records heading you will find an option to select “IRS Form 1098-T information.”1098-T phone line 973-655-3000.
