Fernando Campusano

Fernando is a sophomore at Montclair State University currently majoring in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance.  He also has a minor in Leadership Development through Civic Engagement and plans to double major. His involvements on campus are with the ELLC (Emerging Leaders Learning Community) Program, CAPS (Counseling and Psychological Services) Agents of Change, HRLDA (Human Relations Leadership Development Association), and the MSU Psychology Club. He takes pleasure in all the amazing opportunities offered at MSU and enjoys hanging out with family and friends during his free time. Fortunate enough to have a great family and supportive friends, he lives a marvelous life inspired by art, freedom and dreams all around him.  

 

Caitlin Darragh

 

Caitlin is a junior at MSU and is majoring in Family and Child Studies with a concentration in K-5 education.  She is currently working to get a duel certification in math and hopes to get certified in Special Education in the future.  She is involved in the Red Hawk Callers on campus, and  enjoys dancing, going to the gym, spending time with family, and having fun with her friends.  Caitlin always has the quote: “I touch the future; I teach,” with her to remind her of her passion of working with children.

 

Stephanie Dicindio

Stephanie Dicindio is a freshman at Montclair State University.  She is majoring in Biology. Stephanie is currently involved in the ELLC (Emerging Leaders Learning Community), Rec Board, and she works as an Admissions Ambassador. She enjoys spending time with family and friends, music, sports, staying in shape, and meeting new people. Stephanie lives by the quote: "When the power of love overcomes the love of power, the world will know peace."

 

 

 

Jennifer Gross

 

Jen is a junior at MSU majoring in Family and Child Studies K-5.  She is involved with many on-campus Honors societies and works with the Girl Scouts of Northern New Jersey year round.  She enjoys school and the company of her friends.  Jen says that in life, “Thousands of candles can be lit from a single candle, and the life of the candle will not be shortened.  Happiness never decreases by being shared.”

 

 

Nicholas Jones

Nicholas is a senior at MSU and is majoring in Information Technology with a minor in Biology.  He is currently involved in the ELLC (Emerging Leaders Learning Community), HRLDA (Human Relations Leadership Development Association), and MSU L.E.A.D (Leadership Education and Development).  Nicholas enjoys basketball, football, computers, movies, and many more.  “If I could help someone in anyway possible by something I do or say, please let it be possible,” is what Nicholas’s prayer is everyday.

 

 

Jennifer Pimentel

Jennifer Pimentel is a freshman at MSU and is currently undeclared but intends on declaring a major revolving around social work. She is an alum of the Educational Opportunities Fund Program (EOF), involved with the ELLC (Emerging Leaders Learning Community), HRLDA (Human Relations Leadership Development Association), and recently received an Empowerment certification by completing the Agents of Change program. Jennifer enjoys bowling, spending time with family and friends, meeting new people, traveling, and listening to music.

 

 

Chris Ponce

Chris Ponce is a freshman at MSU and is majoring in Family and Child Studies with a concentration of Early Childhood Pre K-3. She is currently involved in the organization of OSAU (Organization of Students for African Unity) and is part of the ELLC (Emerging Leaders Learning Community). Chris takes pleasure in spending time with her family, friends, running the track, going to the beach, dancing, listening to different kind of music, and swimming.  She lives life everyday by an amazing quote, “When we are motivated by goals that have deep meaning, by dreams that need completion, by pure love that needs expressing, then we truly live life.”

 

Sofia Vargas

Sofia is a freshman at MSU and is majoring in Business Administration with a concentration in Hospitality Management.  She is currently involved in the Emerging Leaders Learning Community (ELLC) and Human Relations Leadership Development Association (HRLDA).  One of Sofia’s interests is meeting new people. She enjoys dancing, going to the gym, spending time with family, and having fun with her friends.  She lives her life by the quote her father once told her, “A great leader's courage to fulfill his vision comes from passion, not position.”

Ashley Cornelison

Ashley is a senior at MSU and is currently majoring in Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing.  She is very involved in her sorority, Corazones Unidos Siempre, Chi Upsilon Sigma, National Latin Sorority, Inc.  Ashley enjoys multitudes of things including snowboarding, acting, playing sports for fun, stepping, and much more.  She lives her life with the quote “Shoot for the moon.  Even if you miss, you’ll land among the stars!”

 

Frank Quinones

Frank is Senior at MSU and is majoring in Family and Child Studies with a concentration in K-5 Education and Family Services, and a minor in Leadership Development through Civic Engagement.   He is currently involved in HRLDA (Human Relations Leadership Development Association) and Lambda Sigma Upsilon, Latino Fraternity Inc.   Frank enjoys being involved on campus, working with children, and helping out in the community in anyway possible.  He lives by the quote, “To know even one life has breathed easier because you have lived, is to have succeeded.”
