Welcome to the Division of University Advancement at Montclair State University. There has never been a more exciting time to be part of the Montclair State family. While building upon a century of growth and distinction, Montclair State continues to stay focused on its ongoing commitment toward providing a quality education, conducting valuable research, and productively serving our constituents and communities.

We have long served as an opportunity university for students of great intellect and ambition, but with often times limited financial means. Nearly half of our 18,000 students are the first in their families to go to college, and the same has been the case for so many of our alumni over the years.

In a time of ever-declining state revenues and increasing student and societal needs, we are dedicated to providing quality education to hard-working, ambitious students with great ability and promise.

The Division of University Advancement is instrumental in helping the University achieve its goals by creating public and private partnerships, seeking opportunities for additional resources for our students and faculty, raising much-needed funds, engaging and involving alumni and friends, and sharing the news of the latest exciting happenings at Montclair State.

Our team—Advancement Services; Alumni Relations; University and Community Relations; Communications; Development; and the Montclair State University Foundation—works closely with students, alumni, community leaders, business professionals, the media, friends of the University and many others to advance and fulfill the University's mission.
