How You Can Help Us Be More Effective
There’s a lot going on at Montclair State, not to mention in the larger world, and it’s easy for your event or idea to get lost in the noise. Here are two simple ways you can help the Office of University Communications get your activity the attention it deserves:
- Call us — Our first recommendation is the most obvious: Let us know when you’re doing something interesting, if you want to be included on our Experts List or if have other news. Don’t assume we already know. Someone on our staff is assigned to your office - and we want to hear from you. View our list of staff. If you’re not sure who to contact, please call 973-655-4333.
- Call us early — If you wait until the day your event is taking place, you're too late. Timing is critical in the news business. The more notice you provide our office (4 – 6 weeks in advance is ideal) the better we can assist you in coming up with an effective strategy.
