How You Can Help Us Be More Effective

There’s a lot going on at Montclair State, not to mention the world at large, and it’s easy for your event or idea to get lost in the clamor. Help University Communications get your activity the attention it deserves:

• Call us — Let us know when you’re doing something interesting, if you want to be included on our Experts List, or if you have other news. Don’t assume we already know.
• Call us early — Don’t wait until the day of the event. Timing is critical in the news business. The more notice you give our office (4 – 6 weeks in advance is ideal), the better we can assist you in coming up with an effective strategy.
• Become an Expert — Register your area of expertise in our faculty expert database, which the media can access on our Web site.
