Be extremely careful about altering a photograph with Photoshop or another software program. Avoid making alterations that affect the factual accuracy of persons, places, or events depicted in the photo. If it is necessary to alter a photograph and you have questions about the appropriateness of doing so, contact University Communications at 973-655-4333.
In deciding what to photograph, our main priority is that we must service the University as a whole. Images taken at certain events may have limited usefulness on a University-wide level; others may have broader applicability or be newsworthy in terms of the main Web site. For specific photographic requests, contact Bob Gano 973-655-5127 for a news item, Diane Reed, 973-655-4334 for media relations; Claudia Bogris, 973-655-3291 for publications or advertising, or Cindy Meneghin, 973-655-7917 for the Web.
If we cannot accommodate your request, we can lend you a camera that takes a high quality image which we can process for you. We can also show you how to operate the camera and give you pointers on using it effectively. For pick-up arrangements, contact Garry Rideout at 973-655-7046.
