Since students and faculty helped the WPA build the amphitheater in the 1930s, it has been a landmark close to the heart of all who attended Montclair State.
In the fall of 2004, the amphitheater was lovingly restored, then outfitted with lighting and sound systems. This restoration is the result of a still-ongoing fund drive through alumni gifts to the Alumni Association and the MSU Annual Fund.
A spectacular, new Plaza has been created, joining the Amphitheater, the new Alexander Kasser Theater, and Alumni Green. Please return to campus to see for yourself the results of alumni generosity. |
