Become fluent in German and explore the rich, complex history and culture of one of the most influential countries in Europe!<\/p>\n

The German-speaking world has been home to Mozart and Bach, Nietzsche and Heidegger, Einstein and Bohr. Germany today is the strongest economy in Europe, has one of the fastest-growing independent art scenes (in Berlin), and is a worldwide research leader in fields from renewable energy to nanotechnology.<\/p>\n

In the German program, you will take courses in basic language, conversation and composition, and translation, as well as German literature, history and culture courses. The program will develop your linguistic skills, sharpen your literary analysis, and build your understanding of cultures in German-speaking countries. In addition to German language courses on all levels, the program offers German literature and civilization classes as well as a large variety of extra-curricular activities.<\/p>\n
