Designed for those with a background in science, the program provides a pedagogical foundation and professional field experiences essential to teaching science effectively at the middle school level.<\/p>\n<p>The additional science endorsement helps you to keep ahead of the curve with the changing state of education and with advances in science. It also will allow you to obtain your Highly Qualified Teacher status &#8211; a must for anybody who wants to teach science in New Jersey public schools.<\/p>\n<p>Once you complete the program, you will be recommended to the NJ Department of Education for a Certificate of Eligibility with Advanced Standing. This certificate allows candidates to seek employment in public schools throughout the state.
