If you already hold a bachelor’s degree and want to teach physical science in New Jersey public schools, this post-baccalaureate program is designed for you. Upon successful completion, you’ll be recommended to the New Jersey Department of Education for teaching certification in Physical Science. This program provides the pedagogical preparation and subject-area depth required for middle and high school instruction.<\/p>\n

Candidates must complete a minimum of 30 credits in a coherent sequence in physical science. You\u2019ll receive a Certificate of Eligibility With Advanced Standing (CEAS), allowing them to seek employment while completing a provisional teaching year. This certificate is valid for life and widely accepted in other states.<\/p>\n
