If you want to create classrooms where every student can succeed, Montclair\u2019s MEd in Special Education will prepare you to be an expert advocate and instructional leader.<\/p>\n

This 36-credit program is designed for certified teachers who want to expand their expertise in working with students with disabilities while earning both a certification and a master\u2019s degree.<\/p>\n

You\u2019ll study assessment, instructional methods and behavior supports while exploring ways to design equitable learning environments that meet the needs of diverse learners.<\/p>\n

Coursework covers advanced strategies for supporting students across disability categories, including approaches that build on individual strengths and foster independence. You\u2019ll also learn how to collaborate effectively with families, colleagues and service providers to create comprehensive support systems.<\/p>\n
