This course helps you synthesize what you\u2019ve learned throughout the BSN program and prove you\u2019re ready to lead in real healthcare settings.<\/p>\n<p>It\u2019s the final step in the RN to BSN journey \u2014 a chance to pull everything together and put your advanced nursing skills into action.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><div class=\"prpl-band no-margin\"><div class=\"text-content\">\n<h2>Transfer Credit Evaluation<\/h2>\n<p>If you earned your associate degree or diploma from an accredited institution, you may transfer <strong>general education, prerequisite science, and pre-licensure nursing courses.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>You\u2019ll also be awarded <strong>30 competency credits<\/strong> for passing the NCLEX-RN.<\/p>\n<p>You may also transfer a <strong>3-credit statistics course<\/strong> completed within the past five years at an accredited institution.<\/p>\n<p>The final <strong>27\u201330 credits <\/strong>must be earned at Montclair.<\/p>\n<h2>Cost &amp; Financial Aid<\/h2>\n<p>As a public institution, Montclair offers one of the most affordable nursing programs in New Jersey.<\/p>\n<p>The School of Nursing proudly partners with Hackensack Meridian Mountainside Medical Center, Atlantic Health System, and St. Joseph\u2019s University Medical Center to provide a <strong>20% tuition discount<\/strong> for eligible employees enrolled in Montclair\u2019s RN to BSN program.<\/p>\n<h2>Admission Requirements<\/h2>\n<p>To apply to Montclair\u2019s RN to BSN program, you\u2019ll need to:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Complete the <strong>online application<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Submit <strong>official transcripts<\/strong> from all colleges attended<\/li>\n<li>Be a graduate of an accredited associate degree or diploma program with a <strong>minimum 2.5 overall GPA<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Hold an active <strong>RN license in New Jersey<\/strong> in good standing \u2014 or be eligible for NJ licensure as a new graduate*<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><em>*Nursing students currently completing their associate degree or diploma may apply, as long as they will finish before the first day of classes at Montclair.
