Application Process for Hispanic Student College Institute

Completed applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis. Priority will be given to applications completed on or before April 1, 2020. Each application for admission is addressed individually, and the process is a competitive one. Students will be notified of their acceptance to the Hispanic Student College Institute by May 1, 2020.

Step 1
Create Your Montclair State Account

Create a Montclair State University account online. Remember to keep your log-in information handy, as you will need it to check the status of your application at a later date.

Step 2
Submit Your HSCI Application
After you have created your account, click “Start New Application”. Then click “Pre-College Programs”. Then click “Create Application”. Then, click “Open Application” and choose “Hispanic Student College Institute” as the program. You will then be able to fill out the application and submit it.
Step 3
Send in your Letter of Recommendation and Transcript

To complete your application, please have your guidance counselor mail or e-mail us a copy of your high school transcript and one letter of recommendation. Documents can be emailed to or sent to:

Check Your Application Status
