Overnight Experience

Want to get a taste of what campus living at Montclair State is all about? With our Overnight Experience, you can find out what it’s like to live on campus, how campus dining measures up and what our classes are like.

You’ll stay overnight in one of our residence halls with a current student host.

Even better, you can customize a schedule that lets you experience everything from a campus overview led by your student host to dinner on campus, from a meet-and-greet with other prospective students to attending a morning class and speaking with faculty and Admissions representatives.

Missed the opportunity to attend an Overnight Experience? We recommend that you sign up for a traditional Red Hawk for a Day event and still gain the classroom experience, campus tour, and dining experience as a Montclair State student for the day!

Parents and families are encouraged to make the most of your visit after dropping your student off for the Overnight Experience.
