Red Hawk For A Day

Spend a Day with Us

Experience a day in the life of a Montclair State student with our Red Hawk for a Day program. You’ll partner with a student host to get a firsthand look at college life – from the classroom to the dining hall.

You’ll be able to customize your Red Hawk for a Day schedule to suit your needs. Your schedule can include a personal campus tour,* sitting in on a class, eating a meal on campus, and opportunities to speak with faculty and Admissions representatives.

*Red Hawk for a Day personal tours do NOT include a residence hall visit.

Be sure to complete the inquiry form to build your custom schedule. The Red Hawk for a Day program runs October-April.

We encourage parents and families to make the most of your visit after dropping your student off for the Red Hawk for a Day experience.

Future Teachers’ Red Hawk for a Day

Are you a future teacher? Learn from the faculty in the teacher education program. The Future Teachers’ Red Hawk For A Day event allows high school seniors interested in becoming a teacher an opportunity learn more about the program and enjoy a college-level classroom experience. Prospective students will partner with student hosts to gain a true prospective of a day in the life of a college student as they tour and enjoy a dining experience on campus. Please note a Office of Undergraduate Admissions staff member will contact you at least one week before to finalize your Red Hawk For A Day visit.
