The AAC consists of the following standing committees:<\/strong><\/p>\n

  1. Membership\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/strong>\n

    • Welcome new members and provide them with necessary information about the organization.<\/li>\n
    • Ensure that new members feel integrated and valued.<\/li>\n
    • Develop strategies for attracting and engaging current members.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n
    • Website, Communication & Marketing\u00a0<\/strong>\n
        \n
      • Develop and implement marketing strategies to promote membership benefits and attract new members.<\/li>\n
      • Foster a sense of community and engagement among members through regular communication of events and activities that encourage participation.<\/li>\n
      • Create and distribute regular newsletters and updates to keep members informed about organizational news, upcoming events, and opportunities.<\/li>\n
      • Manage the organization\u2019s social media presence to engage with current members and attract new ones.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n
      • Fundraising<\/strong>\n

        • Develop comprehensive fundraising strategies, including identifying target donors, methods of fundraising, and timelines.<\/li>\n
        • Plan and execute fundraising events, such as galas, auctions, walkathons, or online crowdfunding campaigns.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n
        • Nominating<\/strong>\n
            \n
          • Identify, evaluate, and nominate candidates for leadership positions within an organization.<\/li>\n
          • Assess the current and future needs of the organization in terms of leadership, skills, and experience.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

            5. Cultural – \u00a0Programming – Community Engagement<\/strong><\/p>\n

              • \u00a0Identify and develop programs, events, and activities that align with the organization\u2019s mission and goals.<\/li>\n
              • Handle all logistical aspects of events, including venue selection, scheduling, catering, transportation, and accommodation.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

                6. Professional Development \u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

                  • Identify, plan, and facilitate opportunities for the growth and advancement of the organization\u2019s members.<\/li>\n
                  • Design and develop a range of professional development programs, workshops, seminars, webinars, and courses that address the identified needs.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

                    7. Constitution and By-Laws<\/strong><\/p>\n

                    • Regularly review and propose amendments to the constitution and by-laws to reflect changes in the organization\u2019s needs, goals, or legal requirements.<\/li>\n
                    • Ensure that the constitution and by-laws comply with relevant laws, regulations, and standards.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

                      8. Ad Hoc<\/strong><\/p>\n

                      A. Student Retention<\/strong><\/p>\n

                      • Develop and maintain relationships with high schools, community colleges, and other educational institutions to create pathways for prospective students.<\/li>\n
                      • Engage with community organizations, businesses, and alumni to promote the institution and support recruitment efforts.<\/li>\n
                      • Provide guidance and support to prospective students throughout the application process, including help with forms, deadlines, and requirements.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

                        B. Student Recruitment<\/strong><\/p>\n
