This inaugural one day event will bring together a community of researchers and ethics professionals into the discussion of Black Lives Matter and its intersectionality with research design and research methodologies. Within the greater context of racism there is a need for exploration of how researchers, research administration and human subject professionals can work together to address inclusivity, beneficence, exclusionary design, participation issues, representation and more. The symposium will have two keynote speakers, a panel discussion and end in a smaller breakout session with a working group to establish and initiate ongoing actions beyond this event.<\/div>\n
