Fall Reunions Bring Graduates Back to Campus
On September 24, members of the Class of 1950 returned to campus to celebrate the 60th anniversary of their graduation from Montclair State. June Boswell Bell ’50 began reaching out to classmates in the spring to coordinate plans for this milestone event. Ms. Bell worked with 19 of her classmates and the Office of Alumni Relations to bring this event to fruition. The celebrants began their campus visit with a luncheon in the Student Center Ballrooms, reconnecting, reminiscing, and sharing stories from past and present.

Following lunch, the group was treated to a private tour of the Will Barnet Exhibit at the George Segal Gallery guided by Art Gallery Curator M. Teresa Rodriguez. A tour of campus to see all the changes that have taken place since their last visit rounded out the day, and guests were invited to visit the Yogi Berra Museum and Learning Center before they headed home.

5253DormReunoinOn October 29, a group of alumni (pictured right) from the classes of 1952 and 1953 visited campus and enjoyed tours of the newly renovated Panzer Athletic Center and the
John J. Cali School of Music, which is housed in Chapin Hall. This group was amazed at how campus has grown
since their graduation and the renovations that were done to Chapin Hall, where most of them lived as resident students.

Steven handles all facets of matrimonial matters including divorce; annulment; custody; visitation; domestic violence; preparation of all types of agreements including cohabitation, marital, premarital, separation, reconciliation and property settlement agreements; post judgment issues including enforcement and modification of judgments/agreements; appellate practice; children's rights; palimony; paternity; and guardianship. Steven credits the pre-law studies programs at Montclair State University with providing him the skills that are essential to gain admission to, and succeed in, law school and beyond. By studying such topics as legal research, writing, and reasoning at the undergraduate level, Steven advises that he was well ahead of his peers during his first year of law school, earning such honors as "best paper" in torts and an A+ in constitutional law. He views the mentoring that he received from Montclair State University faculty as an important key to his success both in law school and as an attorney. He has returned to Montclair State as an adjunct in the areas of Family Law, Legal Research and Writing, and Introduction to Law.
