50th and 50 Plus Reunion celebrations are traditionally combined with the University\u2019s Commencement in May each year. Our Commencement date is Thursday, May 25, 2017.<\/p>\n

<\/em>Reunion events will include:<\/p>\n

As some of the members of the class of 1967 will be traveling from out of town, we will host an informal gathering at the Crowne Plaza on Wednesday evening to have a drink and snacks in the lounge for all members of the class of 1967. The first drink and the snacks will be provided by the Office of Alumni Relations. See accommodations page for special Montclair State group rate for rooms at the Crowne Plaza.<\/p>\n

Thursday, May 25, 2017
\nCommencement 2017<\/em><\/strong>
\nAs graduates of the class of 1967, you are invited to lead the procession of more than 4,000 candidates for degree conferment during the University\u2019s May 2017 Commencement Ceremony at The Prudential Center in Newark, NJ. Transportation from campus to Commencement will be provided. Alumni Relations Staff will accompany the group. Upon arrival, a light continental breakfast will be served. Academic regalia will be provided, including a commemorative golden anniversary stole for you to keep as a memento. Immediately following commencement, we will return to campus for the luncheon to celebrate your 50th reunion.<\/p>\n

7:15 a.m. Arrive on campus. <\/strong>Please park in the Red Hawk Parking Deck and proceed to the second floor lobby to check in with Alumni Relations Staff and board shuttle buses.
\n7:30 a.m. prompt departure via shuttle bus to the Prudential Center<\/strong>
\n<\/strong>
\n50th<\/sup> and 50+ Coffee and Conversation<\/em>
\n11:30 a.m.<\/strong>
\nUniversity Hall Conference Center (7th Floor)
\nIn the event you do not wish to participate in the Commencement exercises, you may choose to<\/p>\n

register for the 50th and 50+ Coffee and Conversation breakfast at 11:30 a.m. in the University Hall Conference Center on campus.<\/p>\n

50th<\/sup> and 50+ Reunion Luncheon<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

1:00 p.m.<\/strong>
\nUniversity Hall Conference Center (7th Floor)
\nCost per person $50.00 (Includes lunch, parking fees, and a $5 contribution to The Fund for Montclair State). Members of our 50-Plus classes, those that graduated in 1966 and earlier, will be invited as well to celebrate your milestone as well as their own.

\nClass Photos (Group)
\n<\/em>3:30 p.m.<\/strong>
\nWe will gather all of the members of the class of 1967 for a group photo<\/p>\n

Campus Tours
\n<\/em><\/strong>4:00 p.m.<\/strong>
\nFollowing the luncheon and class photos, shuttle bus tours of campus will be available for those who would like to see the many changes that have taken place on campus.<\/p>\n
