As a graduate of Montclair State\u2019s broadcasting department, Miller-Olko has enjoyed the roller coaster ride of the ever-changing media industry and has always loved the challenges and growth it brings.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWhat an exciting time in the video business! We\u2019ve only just begun to realize its potential as television and digital video content is now available at our fingertips at any time, everywhere,\u201d she says.<\/p>\n<p>Her group\u2019s work services many areas of the company including editorial where they produce 70 videos a month for digital series including <em>Everyday Food<\/em>, <em>Entertaining with Emeril<\/em>, <em>Kitchen Conundrums<\/em>, <em>DIY Style<\/em> and <em>Good Things<\/em>. They build custom video content for the ad sales team for clients like Triscuit and Arm &amp; Hammer and work closely with the company\u2019s merchandise partners, which include Macys, the Home Depot, Petsmart and EK Success. Miller-Olko also executive produces <em>Martha Bakes<\/em> and <em>Martha Stewart\u2019s Cooking School<\/em> which both air on PBS.<\/p>\n<p>Her internship while at Montclair State brought her to work at ABC\u2019s <em>Live with Regis and Kathie Lee<\/em>. After she graduated, she then went on to work as a producer and co-executive producer at various shows for syndicators and networks including Paramount, Telepictures, ABC and NBC. Over the course of her career she has won two Emmy awards as a producer for her work on the <em>Rosie O\u2019Donnell Show<\/em> and two Emmy awards as a supervising producer on the <em>Martha Stewart Show<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cMy time at Montclair State taught me so many valuable lessons and skills I use daily in my professional life,\u201d says Miller-Olko. \u201cIt was an incredible yet affordable education.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>As an undergraduate commuter student, the Dumont Television Studio served as her home base when on campus. Miller-Olko says that it was her professors and the upperclassman in her program that served as her motivation throughout college and made learning fun.<\/p>\n<p>A storyteller at her core, Miller-Olko loves getting the opportunity to understand and communicate the soul of a brand in a way that brings value to viewers.
