Reunion provides alumni with the opportunity to reconnect with each other and with their alma mater. For many, it\u2019s a reason to celebrate with lifelong friends. For others, it\u2019s a chance to get together with classmates, many of whom they may not have seen in 50 years. Some have been back to campus to visit or attend events and activities, while others are experiencing 50 years\u2019 worth of growth and change when they return for reunion.<\/span><\/p>\n

This May 13 – 14, members of the Class of 1974 will have the opportunity to reconnect with former classmates and fellow alumni at their 50th Reunion. In celebration of this milestone anniversary, Reunion celebrants will be invited to join the procession during the University\u2019s 2024 Commencement Ceremony. The class is also invited to campus for an in-person gathering and tour of campus.<\/span><\/p>\n

\"Register<\/a><\/p>\n

\u201cThe campus may have grown by leaps and bounds since their time here, but what hasn\u2019t changed is the great sense of community that is still shared by alumni and current students alike,\u201d says Jeanne Marano, assistant vice president for Annual Giving and Alumni Engagement. \u201cWe are thrilled to be able to celebrate in person and have the opportunity to invite the Class of 1974 back to campus to reconnect with each other and the University.\u201d<\/p>\n

Members of the Class of 1974 reunion volunteer committee have been working hard to plan a memorable reunion this May. Many thanks to this fabulous team: Bill Bernstein, Diana Bianchi Trillo, Michael A. Forcella, Kathleen Ragan and Jan Snyder Price. They are looking forward to reconnecting and celebrating with friends and classmates.<\/p>\n

Commencement 2024 \u2013 Complimentary<\/strong>
\n12:30 p.m. Meet at the Red Hawk Parking Deck on campus, Outside Level 2<\/strong>
\n12:45 p.m. Bus departs campus promptly for Prudential Center, Newark, NJ
\n<\/strong>As graduates of the Class of 1974, you are invited to lead the midday procession of candidates for baccalaureate degree conferment during the University\u2019s 2024 Commencement Ceremony. You will be garbed in academic regalia, and be given a commemorative golden anniversary stole to keep as a memento. A light lunch will be served at Prudential prior to the Ceremony. The Commencement Ceremony begins at 3:30 p.m.<\/p>\n
