{"id":12410,"date":"2014-02-12T14:23:00","date_gmt":"2014-02-12T19:23:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.montclair.edu\/news\/article.php?ArticleID=12410"},"modified":"2014-02-12T14:23:00","modified_gmt":"2014-02-12T19:23:00","slug":"12410_segal-gallery-presents-jersey-women-artists-now-contemporary-visions-march-6-april-19","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.montclair.edu\/arts\/2014\/02\/12\/12410_segal-gallery-presents-jersey-women-artists-now-contemporary-visions-march-6-april-19\/","title":{"rendered":"Segal Gallery Presents &#8220;Jersey Women Artists Now: Contemporary Visions&#8221; March 6-April 19"},"content":{"rendered":"<p> The George Segal Gallery announces its new exhibit, <strong>&quot;Jersey Women Artist Now: Contemporary Visions,&quot; <\/strong>will be held March 6 to April 19. <\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>The exhibition features the work of 18 artists who are either originally from, or currently live and work in, New Jersey.&nbsp; The exhibit is curated by Allison Leigh, professor of Art History, Montclair State University and Dodge\u2013Lawrence Fellow of Zimmerli Art Museum, Rutgers University. Leigh chose to feature works which span a range of styles and media; from abstract and figurative painting, to sculpture, photography, prints and drawing.&nbsp; Two educational programs are offered in the month of April to complement the exhibition.<\/p>\n<p>Artists featured include: Lizz Andronaco; Mona Brody; Jennifer Cadoff; Giovanna Cecchetti; Nancy Cohen; Lauren Ennis; K.S.
