Exhibition is at Magnan Metz Gallery, New York, from June 10-17; opening reception on June 9 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The College of the Arts and\u00a0Department of Art and Design<\/a>\u00a0are proud to present the\u00a0MFA in Studio Arts 2016 Thesis Exhibition,\u00a0a culminating exhibition featuring works produced by students graduating from the\u00a0Master of Fine Arts (MFA) in Studio Art<\/a>\u00a0program,\u00a0off campus at the Magnan Metz Gallery at 521 West 26th Street, New York NY, from June 10-17. An Opening Reception will take place on June 9, from 6-8 p.m.<\/p>\n

The exhibition is curated by Eleanor Heartney, the MFA program’s 2015-’16 visiting critic. “The class of 2016 works with a wide range of media, themes and ideas. \u00a0The eleven artists come from diverse backgrounds and delve into myriad aspects of contemporary life. I have no doubt that their explorations will continue to take them to surprising places as they move forward into the world beyond the academy,” said Heartney of the graduating MFA Studio Art students.<\/p>\n
