Students Emma Hot and Karsten Englander both won second place awards for photojournalism in the New Jersey Press Association\u2019s annual contest for weekly newspapers, for work done in 2022.<\/p>\n

Hot, who won second place in the Pictorial Category, and Englander won second in Feature, were students in Thomas Franklin’s photojournalism class<\/a>, which had a class-wide photo essay project on the town of Montclair published in the Montclair Local newspaper in December.<\/p>\nView a list of all winners<\/a><\/span>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
