(Note: May include but are not limited to, canvas, paints, glazes, fabric, framing, electronics, software, printing, professional fabrication, etc.)<\/li>\n<li>Amount of Award $150 &#8211; $300<\/li>\n<li><strong>DEADLINES TO APPLY<\/strong> &#8211; December 1, 2023: For award use in Spring 2024<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Applicant Eligibility<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>Enrolled full-time at the time of applying (min. 12 credits, 9 credits if Student Teaching)<\/li>\n<li>Enrolled in a major in the Department of Art and Design<\/li>\n<li>Hold a cumulative GPA of at least 3.0<\/li>\n<li>Completed a minimum of 90 credits, with the expectation of enrolling in a culminating Thesis course in the following semester.<\/li>\n<li>Able to show evidence of artistic\/academic development and how the award will make a difference in the quality of the thesis project\/exhibition.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>How to Apply<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>Complete the Richard Carboni Thesis Materials Award google form below. (Note: You must be logged into your montclair.edu account to avoid receiving an Error message.)<\/li>\n<li>Be prepared to upload: a) an Unofficial Copy of your University Transcript; b) a digital portfolio of 10-15 examples of your artwork; c) a narrative including a description and budget for your thesis project; d) a statement describing your goals\/aspirations beyond graduation (150 words max); e) an updated resume<\/li>\n<li>Applicants may seek advice on the preparation of their application and eligibility to apply from the Art and Design Scholarship Advisor, <a href=\"mailto:atkinsona@montclair.edu\">Prof. Andrew Atkinson<\/a>.
