Some stories are being told on stage.<\/p>\n<span class=\"prpl-button\"><a href=\"https:\/\/abcnews.go.com\/Entertainment\/video\/plight-wrongfully-convicted-exonerated-prisoners-explored-opera-107693702\">Watch the ABC News segment<\/a><\/span>\n<p>Composed by Montclair State University College of the Arts faculty member, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.montclair.edu\/~richardssc\">Scott Davenport Richards<\/a>, <em>Blind Injustice<\/em> explores the true stories of six people who were tried, unjustly convicted, imprisoned, and who ultimately freed themselves with the help of the Ohio Innocence Project.<\/p>\n<p><em>Blind Injustice<\/em> premiered, with great success, by Cincinnati Opera in 2019. It paints a damning portrait of how our country\u2019s criminal justice system repeatedly fails not only the wrongfully accused but their families and communities.
