{"id":210285,"date":"2024-03-04T14:20:52","date_gmt":"2024-03-04T19:20:52","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.montclair.edu\/arts\/?p=210285"},"modified":"2024-03-04T14:20:52","modified_gmt":"2024-03-04T19:20:52","slug":"people-of-montclair-photojournalism-project","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.montclair.edu\/arts\/2024\/03\/04\/people-of-montclair-photojournalism-project\/","title":{"rendered":"&#8220;People of Montclair&#8221; Photojournalism Project"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Montclair State University students Irish Maliborski, Kyle Goldware, Ryan Mosca, Sal DiMaggio, Sean Kuhn, Vincent Cianicullo, Ivana Ragusa, Ava Firmani, Billy Pinkney, David Bien Amie and Devin Castillo\u2014 brought <a href=\"https:\/\/montclairlocal.news\/2024\/01\/people-of-montclair-a-final-look\/\"><em>Montclair Local<\/em><\/a> the \u201cPeople of Montclair\u201d series.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;People of Montclair&#8221; was created in collaboration with <em>Montclair Local<\/em> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.montclair.edu\/~franklinth\">Thomas Franklin&#8217;s<\/a> Intro to Photojournalism (<a href=\"http:\/\/catalog.montclair.edu\/search\/?search=photojournalism\">JOUR 281<\/a>) class.<\/p>\n<p>Inspired by the renowned Humans of New York project by Brandon Stanton, MSU students set out to capture the essence of Montclair. The project involved students photographing locals across various Montclair settings, ranging from bustling streets to parks.
