Come have tea, snacks, and celebrate our diverse community at MSU EVERY THURSDAY!

This is a casual, supportive discussion group involving international students, students who would like to/have already studied abroad, and any students simply interested in dialoguing and connecting across cultures.

New students can participate at any point of the semester - we always welcome new members. Members can come weekly or whenever they are able to attend. It is a nice place to build relationships, make connections, obtain support, and learn about the world.

Students have the opportunity to engage with others from different (or similar) cultures and share experiences and challenges.  It is also an affirming and safe space for students to obtain support after experiencing unfortunate interactions such as perceived bias, racism, homophobia, microaggressions, other forms of oppression, or other such interpersonal situations that may have been difficult to deal with.

The group is facilitated by Dr. Sudha Wadhwani (Coordinator of Outreach and Community Intervention at Counseling and Psychological Services - CAPS), with Global Education staff, interns from Equity and Diversity, and CAPS Empowerment Ambassadors.

See you there!
