The George Segal Gallery Presents: "For All the Tea in Japan" Lecture and Tea Tasting
In conjunction with its current exhibition, The Enchanting Art of Japan, curated by Gallery Director M. Teresa Lapid Rodriguez, the George Segal Gallery is pleased to present a lecture and tea tasting which will highlight the historical and cultural significance of tea in Japan. The program is led by Montclair State University alumni, co-founder and tea sommelier for the international tea brand Tavalon Tea, Chris Cason. Sample teas include Brown Rice Tea, Twig Tea and Roasted Tea.
Admission is $10 per person. Please call the Education Coordinator to purchase tickets or make a reservation at 973-655-6941 or, by email, at somerwitze@mail.montclair.edu Purchased tickets are non-refundable.
The George Segal Gallery, located on the 4th floor of the Red Hawk Parking Deck, is wheelchair accessible. If you require any accommodations please call the Gallery at least two weeks in advance of your visit.
