Knowing how to “read” people is an art. Do you know how to do it? Can you “read the room”when you walk into an event? There are many different contexts for reading your audience, whether your audience is a hiring manager you’re interviewing with, a team you’re leading within a company/university, a panel of investors you’re pitching to, etc. Join us for a discussion with tips and advice on how to read people with the following panel:

• Reading your team as a leader (Jill Ploskonka, coordinator of Campus Connection and Leadership Programs)

• Reading your audience during a job interview (Adam Mayer, director of Career Counseling, Center for Career Services and Cooperative Education)

• Reading your boss while being an intrapreneur at a large organization (Bill Guerrero, associate VP for Finance at Albertus Magnus College)

• Reading your customers/investors as an entrepreneur (Mike Crudele, alumnus and entrepreneur)

Panel moderator: John Delate, director of Residence Life

Event presented by Residence Life, Center for Leadership Development, Career Services and Feliciano Center for Entrepreneurship. Event is free, and open to any Montclair State student.
