IS THAT MORAL?  We'll read passages from Immanuel Kant's Groundwork of the Metaphysics of Morals to grapple with his famous "categorical imperative." Can his test help us to determine which actions are moral and which are not?

Philosophy for Lunch happens every Wednesday from 12–1PM.

Who's invited?
No preparation or previous knowledge of philosophy is needed. Everyone is welcome!

Should I bring anything?
Bring a beverage, and if you're hungry, bring your actual lunch.

What is this?
Some students and a philosophy professor (or two) close-read and discuss a few of the greatest passages in the history of philosophy.

Brought to you by the new Department of Philosophy at Montclair State University
