Minature Therapy Horses
The Office of Health Promotion is excited to offer a brand new program to help you relieve stress during a hectic time of year!
First therapy dogs...now therapy horses!
You heard that right! Miniature Horses are coming to campus for De-Stress for Finals Week.
They will be here to bring you therapeutic relief as finals come around.
- Pet them
- Hug them
- Take pictures with them!
Hope's Promise will be coming to Montclair State University with their specially trained therapy horses. The Mission of Hope's Promise is to provide physical, mental and emotional therapy to a wide range of children and adults with disabilities through Equine activities, and to provide a full equine experience to able-bodied individuals.
Aghh...It's Almost Over!
"Finals Week" may be the most stressful week in college! Come de-stress before finals with Health Promotion by taking part in events that help you relax and reduce your stress levels.
Giveaways and Cactus Raffle
Look for Health Promotion staff or Peer Advocates all week around campus for cool giveaways including stress balls, lavender sachets, or button and enter a chance to win a cactus! Can't find us on campus, no worries, simply visit the Drop In Center. Three lucky winners will be contacted on Friday, December 11th.
