The NJ Council of Teachers of English will be on campus for its annual conference.
The group will honor Young Adult and Children's Literature author, Matt de la Peña, with the Muriel Becker Award -- named after an MSU English Department Emerita.
Matt de la Peña recently won the Newbery Medal Award. He is the first Latino to receive this prestigious award.
