Les Visiteurs is a 1993 French drama directed by Jean-Marie Poiré, starring Jean Reno, Christian Clavier, and Valerie Lemercier. It is the story of a 12-century knight (Godefroy de Montmirail) and his servant (Jacquouille) who travel magically in time to the XXe century in order to prevent the death of Godefroy’s father-in-law. With a budget of $9.5 million, this rollicking comedy had a box office gross of over $98 million.
