Interested in 3D printing? Want to exploring the possibilities? Join the ADP Center for Learning Technologies in conjunction the MIX 3D Printing Lab on April 22, 2016 9:30 AM - 2:30 PM for 3D Printing Innovation Day! The day will kick off with a keynote presentation focused on 3D printing and industrial design, highlighting the possibilities and innovations that can result. The afternoon program will offer a choice of sessions from visiting experts.

3D Printing in the Classroom - Adelyn Gann, Westwood Regional School District

The use of 3D printing in K-12 schools has shown great success, allowing students to implement the design process across multiple subject areas to bring their ideas to life. With Makerspaces on the rise, it is beneficial to understand how 3D printing can be a positive addition to your curriculum and classroom. This hands-on session will demonstrate how 3D printing can be used to incorporate design education and STEAM principles through classroom projects and lessons in multiple course subjects.

Getting Started with 3D Design - Randy Coren, Lakeland Public Schools

This session will give you a basic understanding of design by putting 3D printers into action. You'll gain exposure to the main facets of 3D Printing including, 3D Modeling, preparing the file for print, and finally, 3D Printing.

The Future of 3D Printing - Ian Ker & Jason Frasca, The MIX Lab

How will 3D printing change all aspects of our lives, businesses, and bodies? A presentation and discussion lead by the co-directors of MSU's MIX Lab
