The MSU Jazz Ensemble and vocal jazz ensemble, Vocamotion, under the direction of Dr. Jeffrey Kunkel, are pleased to welcome vocalist, arranger, and saxophonist, Darmon Meader. Perhaps best known as the leader of the Grammy award-winning New York Voices, Meader will join both ensembles during the performance.
Guest band will be the Elizabeth-based Ronald Reagan Academy Jazz Ensemble, under the direction of MSU alumnus, Meredith Foreman.
