Sneak Peek: Iphigenia at Aulis
Department of Theatre and Dance

What do we choose to sacrifice “for the greater good”? Euripides’s Iphigenia reflects the extreme decisions made during a time of conflict. Director Heather Benton (Theatre and Dance) and Dr. Mary English and Dr. Jerise Fogel (Classics and General Humanities) will discuss the significance of the play within Ancient Greek society and how reimagining the original text for a modern audience shaped this production.

Come for refreshments at 6:00 p.m.; conversation begins at 6:15 p.m.

Sneak Peeks are pre-show chats that are free and open to the public. No ticket required.

Don’t miss performances of Iphigenia, Nov. 3rd-6th!
Tickets are no charge for undergraduate students (with valid MSU ID) – pick up your ticket at the Kasser Theater box office.
