As the university marks the official 250th anniversary of its founding, November 10, 2016, it is inviting faculty, students, staff, and all members of the community to join in a "Day of Revolutionary Thinking." Charter Day 2016 will feature Rutgers alumni who have shown themselves to be visionaries in their various fields and pursuits. Called the Rutgers 250 Fellows, these thinkers and innovators will reveal the discoveries, ideas, and practices that are transforming our world. Scientists, artists, writers, doctors, and inventors were nominated by departments and centers to participate in the Day of Revolutionary Thinking. They will visit Rutgers at Camden, Newark, New Brunswick, and Piscataway to share their thoughts and offer new frontiers of knowledge.
