Noted television analysist Alan Wolk is a frequent contributor to and columnist for Slate, Forbes, Decider and other industry news sites. He has been interviewed and quoted by everyone from NPR to The New York Times to CBC National News and recently appeared on a segment of public television’s Brian Lehrer Show about the future of TV.

He has been recognized by Wired as one of the Top 20 Thinkers in Social TV and Second Screen, has established himself as one of the industry’s most influential thought leaders. He is also the author of Over the Top. How the Internet is (Slowly But Surely) Changing the Television Industry (a free autographed copy will be raffled off).

Reception will take place from 5:30 – 6:15 p.m.  A tour of the new School of Communication and Media facility will be offered during this time.

The presentation will take place from 6:15 – 7:30.  Following Wolk's talk, an audience Q&A will be moderated by the school's Director, Dr. Keith Strudler. Seating will be limited, so please register early.
