The Cali School of Music invites you to its first annual Baroque Symposium. Internationally known countertenor and Baroque music specialist Drew Minter will speak on Handel and the music of Rome during the 17th and 18th centuries. Following his presentation, Prof. Minter, who teaches at Vassar College, will lead a master class in Baroque vocal performance practice. The Baroque Symposium concludes with a festive evening concert of Baroque music, presented by Mr. Minter in collaboration with the students and faculty of the Cali School. Come for an afternoon and evening of musical exploration!
