"Nobody can do everything, but everyone can do something.”
Join Montclair State University on Friday, April 12th for our Earth Day, “Passport to Sustainability,” event. During the event we will celebrate Earth Day with a fair involving campus-wide clubs, organizations and departments, educational workshops and guest speakers. Together we can take action on the waste issue with sustainable, replicable initiatives.
Montclair State University’s 2019 Earth Day event is sponsored by the Post Landfill Action Network’s (PLAN) Point of Intervention Tour (POI) and partnered with the New Jersey Higher Education Partnership for Sustainability (NJHEPS) and PSEG Institute for Sustainability Studies (PSEGISS). This event is aimed to inspire a student led zero-waste movement and collectively realize individual skills in order to solve our Linear Consumption Economy issue.
The POI tour on Montclair State University’s campus is co-organized with Ramapo College (Monday April 15) and Kean University (Tuesday April 16). At these locations you can also find zero-waste workshops and educational presentations about how to get involved in the zero-waste campaign.
