Confluence: Tradition in Contemporary Art
Organized by bilingual guest curator, Xu Sheng, born in Chengdu City, China, and a scholar of Asian and European arts, humanities and political science.
This exhibition features work by more than 30 artists and designers who broadly and boldly respond to tradition while creating new and unique expressions.
The artists and designers in the exhibit were selected from the faculty and staff of the Sichuan Fine Arts Institute in China and the Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art & Design at the University of Dundee in Scotland.
Exhibited works include paintings, sculptures, prints, drawings, ceramics, jewelry, and videos.
