New international students in F-1 or J-1 status are required to participate in a mandatory orientation, which will include a thorough introduction to Montclair State University’s policies and procedures, immigration check-in, information about navigating U.S. culture and life in metro NYC, and lots of fun activities. A detailed schedule will be sent via email.
