Students pursuing the 30-credit Social Research and Analysis Master’s Degree will gain valuable skills in primary and secondary data analysis, such as engaging in survey research, interviews and focus groups, data and text mining, and analyzing data. According to Burning Glass, in 2017 the positions for the Social Scientists and related workers advertised an average salary of $82,660. Jobs of this type have a low risk of automation and the projected job growth will be 7.1% between 2016 and 2026.
