Catriona Crowe, Irish National Archives: “Reflections on the lost children and mothers of Tuam, and other such Irish Institutions”
Lecture
14th April, 5:30 - 7:00PM

The story of Ireland's mother and baby homes is one of cruelty, neglect and abuse of single mothers and their children in twentieth century Ireland. The new Report by the Commission which investigated these homes has been met by dismay, anger and hurt by survivors of the homes, as it downplays the suffering they endured in these places. and particularly the misery and long-term consequences of separation of mother and child.

All events will take place on Zoom.
