Jesse Bandler Firestone
Curator and Exhibition Coordinator
Jesse has organized exhibitions and public programs at cultural centers, galleries, and museums across the country including The Shed, New York, NY; Wave Hill, New York, NY; Trestle Gallery, New York, NY; The Pulitzer Foundation for the Arts, Stl. Louis, MO; and the Satellite Art Show, Miami, FL. He curates exhibitions that connect disciplines and organizes accessible programs to nurture a broad range of perspectives. Firestone views the creative power of artists as a connective thread within the breadth of human experience. He earned a B.F.A in Photography from Washington University in St. Louis and an M.A. in Curatorial Practice from the School of Visual Arts. Prior to joining Montclair State University Galleries as Curator and Exhibition Coordinator, Jesse was Assistant Curator at Wave Hill.

Alyssa Leslie Villaseñor
Engagement and Outreach Coordinator
Alyssa has worked with Montclair State University faculty, students, and community members in a previous role since Spring 2021. Her work as our new Engagement and Outreach Coordinator will focus on how art bridges perspectives and challenges our preconceptions with new ways of thinking. She looks forward to developing inclusive and accessible programming that meets the needs of our communities. She received a B.A. in Creative Writing from Seton Hall University.
